Rating for special purpose according to JAR-FCL 1.017 - aerobatics/ACR

Requirements for applicant:

  • PPL(A) holder
  • Qualified as a pilot in command of a training type of aeroplane
Duration of the training course
Theoretical instruction 5 hours
Flight instruction total 8 hours 45 minutes
Flight instruction Dual with instructor - 8 hours
Solo - 20 minutes
Skill test with examiner - 25 minutes
Duration of the training 5 training days

The participant is acquainted with basic aerobatic manoeuvres in the course of the training such as:

  • Spinning
  • Looping, stalled turning
  • Rolling, inverted flight
  • Half-roll and dive out, Immelmann turn, vertical/Cuban eight and their combining into aerobatic sequences.
  • Gaining the qualification is marked into the pilot license.
