NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days, September 22nd-23rd, 2012
 | Date: (10.09.2012) Zlin Aircraft Company will once again exhibit at the internationally reknown NATO Days Ostrava being held at Leos Janacek Airport, Ostrava from the 22nd to the 23rd September 2012. This year will see a ZLIN AIRCRAFT present a ZLIN Z 242 L "GURU". Demonstrating it´s amazing versatility through an aerobatic display, the ZLIN Z 242 L "GURU" will show why it is an aircraft of choice for both basic and advanced training. Featuring NATO standard avionics, glass cockpit, and new interior, and with the Garmin G500 as standard. ZLIN Z 242 L "GURU" is a proud successor of line 142, on which the modification of C AF conducting training future pilots of the Czech Air Force. This exceptional aircraft, Zlin Z 242 L "GURU" has in his gear as the Mexican Navy, Polish Army, Peruvian Air Force or Slovenian Army. This aircraft will be on display to both members of the NATO Alliance as well as the general public. A ZLIN Z 143 LSi with the new Garmin G950 avionics and autopilot will also be on display. The new equipment simplifies the work of the pilot due to the systems integration. It combines the communication, flight and engine instruments in a clear display along with GPS, VOR, DME navigation and autopilot display in a split instant. The ZLIN Z 143 LSi, which will be introduced in the Czech national colours, is used mainly for basic and advanced training, tourist and business flights, but is also ideally suited for patrolling over land, sea and littoral targets.
